The following is a previous posting:

Looking back at my life before I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I realize that it is by God’s Grace alone that I didn’t end up locked down, as a guest of the State of California.   There are many men in our prison system who started their journey through crimes committed  while intoxicated from drugs or alcohol, or both.  I am greatful to have a ministry with an office outside of the prison walls … at the end of a day of ministry I have my “get out of jail card” when I hit the gate ….  With that said:

In 1988 with that conviction on my heart, I had my first experience serving through the ministry of music,  in a Federal Prison.  Little did I know that this road would eventually lead to me becoming a Volunteer Chaplain for the State of California at Corcoran Prison.   I am now sent out as a missionary from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, serving at Corcoran Prison by exhortation and teaching through the Word of God, leading worship, working with inmate worship teams  and ministering to the men one on one.

In Christ,

Paul
